About Machinery Tarps
Machinery tarps are generously sized to cover tall, irregular equipment — tractors, generators, industrial machines and crated parts. They usually feature extra D-ring rows and reinforced corners so you can pull the fabric tight around awkward shapes and strap it from many angles.
- Extra-large sizes for tall equipment
- Additional D-ring rows for irregular shapes
- Heavy-duty 18 oz vinyl
- Useful as general-purpose oversize covers
How to choose machinery tarps
- Measure all three dimensions. Add the height twice to the width and length to estimate the tarp size you need to reach the deck on every side.
Machinery Tarps FAQ
What size machinery tarp do I need?
Add twice the equipment height to its width and to its length; the result is the minimum tarp width and length needed to reach the deck on all sides.
How is a machinery tarp different from a lumber tarp?
Machinery tarps are usually larger and squarer with more D-ring rows, because equipment is irregular rather than a tidy rectangular stack.
Should I protect sharp points on equipment?
Yes — pad mirrors, exhaust stacks and sharp corners with edge protectors or old carpet so they do not puncture the tarp at highway speed.
