How to choose the right load locks & cargo bar
Measure the width or height you need to span and check the bar’s adjustment range and rating.
Specifications explained
- Material: Galvanized Steel — Steel offers high strength and abrasion resistance; check the finish for rust protection.
Before you buy
- Confirm the size or option matches your equipment.
- Check the rated capacity against your heaviest load.
- Compare the full option table above before clicking through.
Safety and care
- Seat both ends fully before loading.
- Check bars after the first miles of a trip.
- Replace bent or damaged bars.
To complete your setup, many buyers also look at corner & edge protectors, ratchet tie down straps and winch straps — see the suggestions below.
Three steps to the right choice
- Check the working load limit. Use the WLL printed on the tag, not the break strength, when planning securement.
- Pick the right end fitting. Flat hooks suit flatbed rub rails, wire hooks and snap hooks suit D-rings, and e-track fittings suit vans.
- Protect the strap. Use edge protectors wherever webbing crosses a sharp edge.
